Artist Insider Favorite – 5: Kim Thomas 13.2

This is the fifth in a series of “Favorite Segments from Jonathan Nation” we have, and last for now. These have been in no particular order.

This segment is from our interview Kim Thomas 13.2 – International Traveler.

Short notes from the Executive Producer, Jonathan Nation:

  • Someone in their musical act was organized.
  • Networking comes up.
  • She talks about the journey and her mindset.

In the morning some thoughts and questions will be posted in the comments and we invite you to comment yourself.

Tomorrow, we will begin a new interview.

I started naming the files a little different with this interview. I added in the name of the person who is being interviewed. This causes it to show up in the mp3 player.

Are you enjoying your journey? What is the point you are shooting for now?

Who have you followed or learned from, from a distance?

How have you built your network?

As I listen to these interviews, because generally I am present working the equipment, I find myself taking the storied of the current Insider and applying the principals and ideas from another Insider and then picking out the differences.

    1. My primary journey is taking care of my wife, out of that I am working on building a company and learning about other potential passive forms of income.

    2. Here are a few:
    Mark Cuban – http://www.blogmaverick.com
    Leo Laporte – http://leoville.vox.com/ or http://leoville.com/ (really from http://www.twit.tv )
    Michael Geoghegan – http://reelreviewsradio.com/ and http://willnick.com/ (a podcast guy)

    3. At this point it is more work to maintain my connections and networks then building. Building is more part of tapping into the networks that my connections are also connected to. I am involved in a few online communities and look to visit different organizations from time to time.
